Lowball

A portmanteau of "Lowkey" (to some extent/secretive) and "Ball" (knowledge/the full story). To provide only a fractional amount of context or a minimum extension of the truth.

Usage: When you are too nervous or hesitant to give the full "ball" of knowledge, so you only give a "lowkey" version.
"I didn't want to admit I crashed the car, so I lowballed and told my parents I just 'scratched' it."
