Assclown is a common synonym used in place for "Presidential Candidate," regardless of political affiliations.

"So it is either Trump or Hillary this year. Why do the parties insist on giving us the two worst assclowns to vote for?"

"Time to go pick an assclown for President. Wish us luck for another four years."
