Used in Pokémon video games to describe a Pokémon whose sole purpose is to first Paralyze and then try to Flinch the enemy. Due to both status conditions having a chance to stop a Pokémon from attacking, every turn the Paralyzed Pokémon tries to attack has a very high chance to stop the attack from executing because each status is rolled separately (you have to win the RNG paralyze roll AND win the flinch roll to even attack).
I thought I would lose the match for sure, but I was able to ParaFlinch the win out with my Jirachi! He couldn't do a thing about it.

A word spanning several genres from MOBA and MMO to denote a character who supports damage dealing characters by stunning and incapacitating enemies more than dealing actual damage themselves. While their CC may be threatening in the presence of their teammates, they are often helpless when fighting alone.
"Listen, I have more DPS than we could ever need. All I need you to do is be a Stunbot and stand in front of me."
