brown sturgeon

A close relative to the brown trout, the brown sturgeon is much larger and much more aggressive than it's smaller, more timid cousin. Like the brown trout, brown sturgeon are usually found in urban stream and lakes. They are also highly associated with treatment plants and dairy farms adjacent to the Merced river in California.
