Flanchouli

This when a gathering of like-minded folk, eat drink and make merry; where hypotheses are considered, theories discussed, where music is enjoyed and also where one particular game is played.
Held at the beginning of June, the exact day of any Flanchouli is often a mystery to most attendees until two or three weeks beforehand, when the hosts make the grand announcement unto the ether.

It is traditional that you arrive at any Flanchouli with enough libations for oneself (plus extra for game time) and a dish of your own creation, which is to be shared amongst the other participants or 'flanchers' as they are known.
The game that has been associated with Flanchoulies since their conception is of course Beer Pong, where the specially commissioned 'Seabass Pongball Trophy' is presented to the victorious team.
A Flanchouli is traditionally brought to a close with the lighting of a large fire, where exhausted flanchers may warm themselves, drink in hand, listening to the myriad of musical delights on offer.
"Thanks to you both for a superb afternoon Flanchouli, it was fantastic to see all the beautiful people again, live yaz all!"

"Much love to you all for yesterday, couldn't have celebrated the Flanchouli with a greater gathering of folk!"
