Astana 

Astana is the capital city of Kazakhstan. The Ak Orda Presidential Palace is topped with a massive blue-and-gold dome. The giant, tent like Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center houses a shopping mall and indoor beach resort.

In his inaugural speech, Tokayev praised Nazarbayev as "an outstanding reformer" and called for renaming the capital city, Astana, "Nur-Sultan.".

"Walking around the city of Nursultan (ex-Astana), you'll turn onto Nursultanovsky Avenue and walk past Nursultan University. On the way to the Nursultan monument, you might venture into the Nursultan store."
