Admin Syndrome
Admin Syndrome (noun)
A workplace condition where an employee constantly points out tiny, harmless, or unintentional mistakes made by coworkers in order to gain attention and approval from management. People with Admin Syndrome often act like unofficial supervisors, exaggerating small issues to appear more intelligent, responsible, or leadership-worthy despite having no actual authority.
Usually accompanied by unnecessary seriousness, policy policing, and turning minor errors into dramatic workplace incidents.
