dayturn

The time of day when the sky goes from black to blue. More specifically, it is the time when the horizon traverses the disk of the sun, as the earth rotates (turns) on its axis. Dayturn is a more appropriate word for the time, replacing sunrise, as the sun does not move relative to the earth.

Let's go to the beach and see the dayturn!

Nighturn

The time of day when the sun is eclipsed by the horizon, shadowing the observer from the sun.

I like watching nighturn from the beach.
