A lesbian who is exceedingly butch, often referred to as a "bull
dyke". Originates from the shortening of the
word 'Barbie'. Barbies become 'Barbs' when little
girls become scissor-happy and cut off all their hair, resembling the hair-dos of many 'Barbs'.
