CBDC's are a gov't backed crypto currency in the process of being implemented as another form of control over the masses. They are currently used in totalitarian run China under the concept of a social credit score.
Did you hear John Doe wasn't able to buy his family food for the month because he said he didn't like what the president did? They took all the money from his CBDC account as punishment.
