lotz'd

V. To accidentally damage a new item. The damage would seem superficial, but actually requires substantial repair. Lotz is derived from the amount of work required after thorough inspection. The item is still usable not "totaled". Instead, it is an eyesore that reminds the owner of significant lack of oversight.
Man, you really lotz'd that truck yesterday. They had to replace the whole rear quarter panel.
