way of the road

noun: a saying used to aggrandize a weird, uncomfortable, or unusual comment or situation. the saying originated from the show Trailer Park Boys where Ray, a drunk ex-trucker, vindicated his greasy actions by claiming they're simply an acceptable part of the trucker lifestyle, the "way of the road".
When Bubbles asked why he was throwing his piss jugs all over the trailer park Ray simply replied, "Way of the road Bubs, way of the road."

Bubbles: "But Ray, they're 'ladies of the evening'.. Can't it just be the two of us on the road?"
Ray: "They're friends of the road Bubs, come on- be hospitable. It's the way of the road."

Jenny: "Why did you whip it out at the restaurant? We were having such a nice, quiet meal.."
Kevin: "Idk, way of the road?"

Way of the Warrior

An ill fated fighting game created for the ill fated system 3DO. Way of the Warrior was a 2D fighting game developed by Naughty Dog (yes, the same people that made Crash Bandicoot). This game involve the use of digitized graphics (yes, the same graphios they used in Mortal Kombat). The game was criticized for its stiff control, absurd jumping, and horrendous animation. The game involved some hilarious MK parody characters such as; Konotori (a parody of Kung Lao and Kitana), Crimson Glory (a redneck biker woman who possibly played on Sonya), Major Gaines (a soldier who chucks grenades and takes steroids), Shaky Jake (a drunk Aussie who breaths fire), Fox (a complete parody of Jax, a tall black guy with sais), Nikki Chan (?), the Dragon (hahaha, a Bruce Lee ripoff), Nobunage (a kendo warrior), the Ninja (he shoots lighting bolts), Kull the Despoiler (a giant skeleton), High Abbott (a dragon), and Gulab Jamun (Gulab Jamun is an Indian dessert, the game Gulab is an evil swami). The game tanked and was forgotten by many but remembered by some.
Player1: oh shit, you fried me with Shaky Jake!

Player2: eat that, sucka!

Way Of The Future

A term used to say something is forward thinking, interesting, you might like to try it out for yourself, or just plain superfreakingawesome. Way Of The Future was started and made popular by Cameron Walker of WeatherStar. It can be abbreviated WOTF.
WeatherStar fan: What did you think of living in NYC?
Cameron: It's the Way Of The Future!

way of the cave

This term is used regarding an event or task to describe a deeply entrenched tradition or convention that applies to it and is expected to be adhered to by those involved with it. Generally used to communicate that, while certain rules or conditions about how things are to be done are inconvenient, its presence is considered ubiquitous and unfeasible to work around. When someone complains about this one must explain "it is the way of the cave".

Like many older idioms (such as "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb".) this term has an opposite meaning when spoken in its longer form. Used in this way, the original speaker begins, "It is the way of the cave. Sun or no sun." (or relevant topic)
The second speaker replies "No sun!" Thus declaring they have devised an unexpected way to circumvent the situation in their favor.

The first recorded use of this term was originally found around May of 2014 in the fantasy drama epic titled "The Begun of Tigtone"
"Tyrone! You MUST convert ounces to grams to flip this stash! Do your 3rd grade arithmetic skills justice...by USING all of them.
This is the way of the cave. Weed or no weed."
"No weed," yells Tyrone, as he simply robs the mark of all his cash rather than determining the correct price for the drugs.
