Slang: From the combination of the words "vertical" and "limbo". Refers to having to stand on one's tip-toes and shimmy between a wall or other vertical barrier and the back of a chair. The chair is occupied by a person of enourmous girth.
Truant had to do the vertimbo after lunch to exit the Waterloo Ice House on Burnet Road. Norling laughed.
