urban myths isn't defined yet, but these are close:
1. Urban Mythbusters
Testing common modern day myths and theories to see if they're true usually ending up with explosive results. Ranging from What happens when an aerosol goes on a fire to clinical tests into whether Man Flu is real
This week on Urban Mythbusters we try to Bust the Urban Myth of Is it possible to have sex while playing a games console... there's only one way to find out!
2. Urban Myth
Having to do with unofficial, unsubstantiated, slang, or evolving language. What this has to do with cities is anyone’s guess.
There is nothing particularly "urban" about www.urbandictionary.com.

Most "urban myths" are actually *suburban* in origin and quite provincial in their idiotic implausibility.
3. faggot
I would just like to clear up something for the intrepid writers of definitions of the word "faggot."

The pejorative word, "faggot," is not French, Latin, or Old English for "bundle of sticks". This word originated in the early 20th century (the earliest printed reference is 1914). There are several hypotheses as to its origin, but it not likely derived from the identically spelled word which means a bundle of sticks.

Furthermore, gay people were not burned alive with bundles of sticks in the Dark Ages, the Salem Witch Trials, or Nazi Germany. That is an urban myth.
When you read the endless, doubtless well-intentioned posts asserting that "faggot" comes from burning gay people at the stake, remember that this is an urban myth. In fact, a lot of the things people repeat as fact are fabricated memes that have become part of the zeitgeist.
4. Kari Byron
Kari Byron is an extremly talented build team member/researcher on the Discovery Channel show Mythbusters. Kari Byron is usually assigned to tackle secondary myths on the show or assist the hosts in busting the larger-scale myths.

Kari Byron has a Bachelor's degree in film and sculpture which explains her proficiency serving on the build team of Mythbusters. Her artistic background ensures that no build is too far-fetched or difficult. Kari Byron's intellect and talent are nothing less than impressive and are very well suited to busting myths, urban legends and old wive's tales much to the delight of Mythbusters fans everywhere.

Interestingly enough, in addition to being so talented, Kari Byron has been confirmed as being the cutest redhead known to man. Do not dispute it.
Kari Byron, helping to bust myths while ofsetting the show's geekiness with her sunny personality, beautiful smile and expertise in reckless demolition in the name of science.
5. urban
having to do with unofficial, unsubstantiated, slang, or evolving language. What this has to do with cities is anyone’s guess.
There is nothing particularly "urban" about www.urbandictionary.com.

Most "urban myths" are actually suburban in origin and quite provincial in their idiotic implausibility.
6. subwaysleuth
A person who uses the Subways, Underground urban trains, and some elevated, also known as U-Bahn to our deutsche Freunde, to help to define the more secret aspects of City life. Especially true in the City of New York; for it enjoys a rich and seedy subway culture spanning a century.
As a subwaysleuth, I'm able to uncover the truth about homelessness on the A-train.
7. buddy dobbs
A character from urban folklore. No one is really sure if he exists, but there are many stories about him. The name is derived from a Warren commission reference to the Jack Ruby / Lee Harvey Oswald connection. It is said he will lead an army of the homeless against the affluent. It is a myth passed among the homeless, and is rarely told to people they judge as outsiders. To my knowledge, there is no records of him ever really existing.
"Just wait, Buddy Dobbs is comming soon."
