Tinfoil Hat

A hat made of tinfoil that prevents people from reading your mind. Ironically, people who wear these hats in the first place don't usually have much of a mind left to read.

The only thing standing between me and the secret society's insidious mind manipulation techniques is my trusty tinfoil hat right here. Want one? Hey! Where are you going so fast?!

Cellophane/ Tinfoiling

Cellophane (adj.): when a person is very transparent and clear about their intentions or goals or end game in a romantic situation or relationship

Tinfoiling (verb): the opposite of cellophane; when a person should be transparent or clear with you in a romantic situation/relationship, but instead they are the opposite…vague, ambiguous or borderline shady.

Jess: I was starting to really like him and I was honest about that, but then I couldnt get an idea of where he was at with things.

Nicole: Ohhh, I see. So you were cellophane since the beginning but he was tinfoiling you?

Jess: YES! he was totally tinfoiling me.
