Gabriel the Marine

Gabriel the Marine is a band from Long Island, New York that incorporates electric violin, jazzy vocals, and the catchiness and accessibility of a mature indie pop group, all while being headed by a bunch of 17, 18, and 19 year olds. The band, who's endeavors not only involve an upcoming record with Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, The Almost, Self Against City, The Scenic), an orchestra made up of classical musicians from Yale, Manhattan School of Music, and Juilliard, and short stories and films, cleverly stitched their talents together in a concept dealing with issues and questions far older and more timeless than the ages of the band members combined. From selling out venues in New York City, to having their single "Maybe Baby" being featured on KRock (92.3 FM), Gabriel the Marine has remained a driving force that refuses to stop.

Stay tuned for their i-Tunes release, their new music video(s), a new myspace layout, more shows, relentless touring, and of course more music. Their next album is dropping Summer 2009.

In reality, if you think about it, the Marine Corps pretty much molds you into something that can survive the Apocalypse! You're pretty much a bum that can shoot weapons, eat anything, shit anywhere, and sleep anywhere. You can essentially run on crumbs, water, motrin, and nicotine and you can go weeks or months w/o a shower! Moreover, on the plus side, you lose ALL Morality so shooting and looting to survive is, eh, whatever.

US Marines are basically the human version of a raccoon.

The United States Merchant marine Academy

also known as Kings Point. Its a place where one wears a silly costume (uniform), does plenty of excercise(looking at porn) and of course is well hydrated, with more alcohol than you can imagine. But what do you expect from a school full of sailors. Unlike the sissies at the Naval Academy, we know how to drink and chase women of the night. We are given a whole year to do it on commericial ships. Located in Great Neck NY we proudly display our Nazi Flagpole, in a Jewish Community. Need I say anything else about an establishment that when you graduate you are given choices to actually make a ton of money, and not have to go active duty. Because why fight in the war, when you can profit off of it.

A pop/punk/indie band that has changed many music lovers view on music. The band's lyrics are legit. Many listeners can relate to the music. Their music is just amazing. It's really just a lifestyle to many fans. Also the band members are the sweetest people you can meet. This Is Real Life.

An Arizona based indie/pop/rock band that consists of 5 members: John O'Callaghan(vocals), Kennedy Brock(vocals/guitar), Pat Kirch(drums), Jared Monaco(guitar), and Garrett Nickelsen(bass). These guys are the most nicest guys you will ever meet in your life. They love to party and have a great time. This group of guys have true love for music unlike other bands. You can find these guys touring around the United States singing their recently debuted album "Can't Stop Won't Stop".
