Real name is Robert Nesta Marley. Greatest man ever born. He believed hatred was a disease and his music and love could cure it. He was right. He smoked marijuana because he was a rastafarian and because weed is calming agent.
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.--Bob Marley

Famous Jamaican roots reggae artist. Most of his songs were related to his involvement in political activism. He is most commonly associated with the Rastafarian movement, despite the fact that he converted to Orthodox Christianity, being baptised by His Eminence Abouna Yeeshaq (sent to Jamaica by H.I.M. Haile Selassie I to convert the Rastas to Christianity) before his death.
Redemption Song is a famous Bob Marley track.
