Texas A&M University

Located in College Station Tx, A&M was the first public institute of higher learning in Texas, established in 1876 as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. Founded as an all male millitary school along the lines of the Citadel and VMI,and steeped in millitary tradition, Texas A&M remained essentially unchanged until the 1960s. From these humble origins, A&M has grown to become a large, co-ed Flagship University of 40,000 students for the state of Texas and is consistently ranked as one of the premier public universities in the country. Texas A&M University

The first public institution of higher education in the state of Texas. A&M is the home of the fighting Texas Aggies with a variety of very successful college sports. Having one of the friendliest campuses in the world, Texas A&M is one of the few campuses that Greek life doesn't define you. With over 800 student organizations it is extremely easy to find your place in the school and to make life long friends. We are also known for our business and engineering with many other degree choices to choose from. We pride our selves on our conservative views while t.u. continues its liberal ways.

Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets 

A glorified reserve officer training corps in which the sole purpose of every individual is to earn both the right to wear a pair of thousand dollar boots and the right to walk on grass.

Bill is a senior in the Texas A&M Univresity Corps of Cadets and paid for his thousand dollar boots yesterday so he can walk on the grass today!
