Don't tell me tell your mom 

Another phrase originating from greensprings school, used in a similar manner to wait no telling. It is used to express disinterest in what someone is telling you about. And insinuating that their mother would be more amused by what they have to say than anyone else.

David: Never do that again you are so annoying!!

A game played on TikTok where you are challenged to say something without directly saying it.

Girl in TikTok: Tell me without telling me your boyfriend is the best boyfriend ever. I’ll go first…

*girl pans camera to her boyfriend lovingly picking out all the stuff she hates off her extra large pizza*

Me: looks over to my husband who won’t even hold the door open for me when he enters a store.

*cries cus I know I’ll never know what that feels like*

The first known use of this phrase was by Taran G, Atlanta, GA, March, 2010

An AO3 tag used in fanfics, often smut, where the author would be flattered to know the reader got off to their work.

That fic had a "Wank and Tell" tag so I left a spicy comment as soon as I washed my hands
