A basketball team who was good in the late 70s and early 80s, was mediocre for about a decade, then started getting good again in the 90s. In the mid 90s, all-stars Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, and Detlef Schrempf led them to be the best team in the west, and finally to a finals run in which they lost to
the bulls (who were 70-12) 4-2 in an exciting series. After which, Shawn Kemp got fat, did cocaine and had 30 kids, and Detlef Schrempf got traded, yet
the Sonics remained a playoff team. Soon the Sonics will work their way back to where they were and win an NBA
Championship.
