student council

the group of people in a school that do all the work for the majority of the activities that happen in your schooltypically middle or high schools but hardly ever get the credit they deserve.they do things that most people think "just happen" and dont realize that people have put many, many hours of hard work into.

to get into stu-co, one must either run and get elected, or complete a certain number of work-on hours(including community service and school related volunteer work) and then keep a certain number of points throughout the school year to remain on council.

there are meetings, socials, conventions, and other events that happen weekly.

aka the "secret agents" of the school.

Short for “cooking in the studio” meaning to work on art vigorously in some sort of studio or art focused environment. The term is also a play on the phrase “ Cooking in the Stew.”

StuCo Slammy Jammy 

Also known as a “StuCo Slam”, this is when an individual is elected onto Student Council five years in a row and serves as Grade 8 Rep, Grade 9 Rep, Grade 10 Rep, Vice President (when in Grade 11) and President (when in Grade 12). Very rare and difficult to do, but an immense honour.

Person 1: “Whoa! Indie is so cool!”
Person 2: “Yeah she is! Did you hear that she completed a StuCo Slammy Jammy?”
Person 3: “No way! That is super impressive!!”

1. StuCo is the term for Student Congress in the world of high school forensics.
2. Seeing that Student Congress is the most lifeless and intellectually devoid form of discourse, StuCo is also a derogatory term for anything boring.
