Static: verb
In popular surf culture to start some static means to go skating. The static is a reference to the friction of the wheels to the ground and when the tail or nose hits the ground.

"I grabbed my board and went to start to some static."

Can be associated with: chillin', hanging-in.

mind static

Extremely fast, yet confused thoughts running through a mind in a deep state of stress. Similar to the static on a television: it moves fast, but it makes no sense at all.

I've been unable to relax or think properly lately. Too much mind static.
