My own invention.

Different name for push pin, metal pin, or sharp end of a staple used to attach papers on a bulletin or notice board.

The best way to post flyers around campus is to use a stagpole on the boards.

Stagolee 

Tough, badass black man. This is based on Stagger Lee Shelton, an African-American cab Driver and pimp. He was convicted of murdering Billy Lyons in 1895 in St. Louis. His crimes were immortalized in a song, that was often re-recorded and several versions refer to him as "Stagolee".

Samuel L. Jackson, is pretty stagolee in every role he plays.
