Regina Spektor 

Musical artist from Russia. Mostly prevelant on the indie scene until her single "Fidelity," which reached video-watching fame on Youtube and was then voted #1 song of 2006 on SIRIUS Radio's Left of Center program.

Spektor experiments with several non-mainstream vocal techniques, most famously the glottal stop from "Fidelity." She's also just pretty experimental in general, known for her poetic lyrics and softer sounds.

Some of her songs are really just weird. Others are really just nice. She says she's written over 700 songs, so you have a long time to look for something that works for you.

Non-musical person: God, Regina Spektor can't sing. Have you heard her? She's so annoying!

Musical person: Actually, I respect her nearly perfect tone, rhythm-sensitive ear, and singing ability.

Spiky Condom

The Spiky Condom is a shot of alcohol consisting of Goldschlager, Grenadine, Crown Royal, and Red Bull. The shot must be taken quickly and should NEVER be smelled before consumption. The first and most recognizable ingredient, Goldschlager, is the spikes of the Spiky Condom. It is then followed by the Crown Royal which counteracts the "Big Red" flavor making your taste buds pulsate, all while keeping it classy. The Grenadine was chosen for it's deep red color properties, which of course hints at the consequences of a Spiky Condom (Both literally and figuratively). Lastly, the Red Bull puts everything back into perspective by bringing two of your five senses back for a very short period of time. Your vision and your hearing. Use this time wisely as your clear vision and ability to understand people will disappear as quickly as you took the shot.

A respectable indie artist with a sweet, unique voice. Has the ability to amze youngsters all around.

Regina Spektor's song "Us" is truely refreshing to hear after all the crappy emo mainstream songs.
