system-suckers

Parasitical freeloaders that do not want to support themselves and live off taxpayer funded programs run by government agencies.
I'm tired of busting my ass working for a living, it would be easier being one of them system-suckers.

Buzz Numbering System

The system of counting used by Buzz, the fat older jock brother in Home Alone.

Basically it's useful, if you want to list three things. Instead of 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C...

A, 2 and D are used.
a) I'm not that lucky
2) We have smoke detectors.
d) We live in the most boring street in the United States, where nothing remotely interesting will *EVER* happen, period.

cat distribution system

When you're the chosen one by the universe and you are given a cat, usually a stray cat that appears out of the blue.
"I was just on break outside at work and this cat came and laid on my lap! Must be the cat distribution system"

Anti Terrorism Honor System

An anti terrorism honor system is where you get honored for getting high marks in school for being strongly opposed to terrorism.
Our school is strongly opposed to terrorism and we take great pride in our anti terrorism honor system.

system quarterback

A system quarterback is one who is perceived to be successful but not extraordinarily talented. The term was originally meant to diminish the inflated statistics of players who run spread offenses.

Essentially, it meant the players had strong numbers because they ran an effective offensive "system" rather than being extraordinarily talented.

The implication is that they can win when surrounded by strong talent, but were less of a prospect at the professional level. It is becoming less of a negative tag, as more teams use offensive systems rather than relying on a star.

The opposite of a system quarterback would be a John Elway or Dan Marino who could win a game back the strength of their arm - with or without a strong system
Examples of system quarterbacks are 1989 Heisman Trophy winner Andre Ware of Houston (46 touchdowns, 4,699 yards senior year at Houston - was a pro washout); and Colt Brennan of Hawaii - drafted by the Washington Redskins.
