short for "shitty litter." The left over remnants and pieces of a big shit that does not make it down the bowl when flushed. Can be floaters (in the water) or stickies (on the side of the bowl).

When you watch a movie trailer and it leaves you in absolute awe and pining for the movie release.. only to find months later the movie is shit.

Nigel couldn't wait to watch that film he'd watched the glittering trailer for at least 100 times, only to discover it was a total piece of shit and a waste of time and money. That trailer was 'Shlitter'.
