The rubbage was so thick driving up to Louisville, I swerved like a drunk on a cellphone trying to avoid it.

A combination of Rubbish and Luggage. A large group or pile of objects and/or materials that someone would label as mostly useless but they keep anyway.

I know you love all that Rubbage in the attic but it's taking up too much space and it's all got to go.
