When a couple desires to engage in sexual intercourse, but, for some reason or another, does not have a form of birth control handy, they perform the ritual known as the "Pull and Pray," where just before the man ejaculates, he pulls out of his partner and prays to God she doesn't wind up pregnant. Speaking out of personal experience, it doesn't work that well.
Andy: "So have you boned Nancy yet?"
Matt: "Yeah, in a Wal-Mart parking lot!"
Andy: "Cool! Did you use protection?"
Matt: "No, I did the Pull and Pray."
