A bar-exam-alike, super selective and
competitive, almost elitist one-year law school curriculum that would suck one's soul and prepare law school grads to becoming soulless
solicitors and barristers (attorney for some other jurisdictions), unique to those who wish to be qualified to practice law in Hong Kong, a tiny but mighty common-law jurisdiction.
This entire year has caused
tremendous pain and uncertainty to those who think they are smart enough to survive law school but actually entering the realms of PC-HELL-HELL.
LLB/JD peeps
talking to PCLL-ers, "Oh wow, you got into PCLL, so smart, man!"
Partner screaming at trainee, "Howcome you can't even draft a writ properly and sensibly? Are you even
qualified?" "Wait a sec, you've passed PCLL, aren't you
supposed to be well-rounded?"
