A Prolebrity is a person who is a professional, typically a leader or well known in their field, who's highly social, loves attention but unable - or not able - to achieve celebrity status; or is a professional who has achieved celebrity status. They're a cross between a hipster, yuppie, and someone who has reach unofficial celebrity status. Typically they're associated with a subculture of men and women typically in their late 20's, 30's and even 40's (college educated), and values independent thinking but blends well into common culture. They're progressive thinkers who are witty and hold an appreciation for finer things, but willing to work hard for it and achieve celebrity status within their field or profession.
