One-dimensional argument

An argument; whether that may be scientific, mathematical, or a general disagreement whereby an individual only provides one viewpoint and gives no further perspective on said point - especially when it comes to research articles and professional works.
The work done by Professor James Rick was nothing but a one-dimensional argument preaching about how the earth is not flat.

One dimensional character 

(n.) A boring person

(n.) An actor that is so bad you can tell that the studio bosses were shaking thier heads during filming. Keeps looking at the camera. One who gets stage fright and stutters a lot.
Elitist and butt licka are one dimensional characters, they deserve eachother
