nundefahne

a northern swiss derivation of the french phrase "nom de dieu", whereas "dieu" is replaced by "fahne", "flag" in english in order not having to mention god in an exclamation. generally, it is simply an expression of surprise, anger or confusion.

bebbi: "s drämmli kunnt nid"
russ: "die sin vechgauft, ally tsamme!"
