Alcoholic beverage (most commonly beer) that is brewed in very large quantities at the expense of quality, including taste and freshness. Frequently available at nearly every location that sells or serves beer. Opposite of microbrew.
"Hey bartender, let me get a Bud Light!"
"We don't serve that."
"Oh. Well give me a Miller Light then."
"We don't serve macroswill crap. We do have Sam Adams, Rogue and Breckenridge on tap though and an assortment of local microbrews."
