A update on your own life which no one really wants or reads but you still post on your story. Life updates can vary in length if it’s detailed the writer is either bored or intentionally writes something long to see if someone will actually read their nonsense. Mainly to identity fake friends or to simply see is anyone cares. If it’s short they simply can’t be bothered or they want to share their life story but don’t have much of a life to have a story.
