A band that exceeds and defines perfection.

Never will any band emerge that can compare to the musical revelation this band has created.

All notable music that is worth listening to has roots that lead to this band.

They didnt fade away, even after the band halted, they still live on in all other music.
Calling Led Zeppelin overrated is saying that everyone loves them except you, thus indicating there success.

There is a reason that the people who call Led Zeppelin overrated have more thumbs down then Bush Supporters.

A really inspiring band to the best era of rock music. The four talented artists were, Robert Plant(on vocals), Jimmy Page(Lead Guitar),John Paul Jones (basist), and John Bonham nicknamed Bonzo (drums). Led Zeppelin's blues is also very good, as you can see in led zeppelin III. On September 25th 1980, John Bonham died at age 32 after 36 straight shots of vadka. The band didn't continue after this but they are remembered in a way that no modern band will be.To answer some questions to some nieve people out there, led zeppelin did not warship satan, that is complete bullshit; the site that has stairway to heaven backwards even says they created that with an audio editor. Second of all, all led zeppelin music was original, they did not steal any music. And stop trying to find an imperfection.

Some of my favorite led songs: Good Times Bad Times, Whole Lotta Love, Immigrant Song, Friends, Tangerine,Bron Y Aur Stomp, Thats the Way, Black Dog, The Battle of Evermore, Stairway to Heaven, and my absolute fav(Going to California), When the Leve Breaks, The Rain Song, Over the Hills and Far Away, D'Yer Mak'er, No Quarter, and The Ocean

Classic Rock fans who like led zeppelin also like bands like The Doors,The Greatful Dead, Gun's N'Roses, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix Expierience, AC/DC, The Who, and Black Sabboth
The 60's - early 90's was the best rock era in my opinion. I could do without most Modern Rock and most of all Emo Music, or emo in general

The people who say they hate stairway to heaven, arn't real led zeppelin fans; They are just a little more real than the ones who say Stairway to Heaven is the best song in the world and are trying to put the group just below them down. A real zepp fan listens to all classic rock and most likly plays guitar too. A real Zeppelin fan appreciates all of the songs for what they are.

a largely influential Band from 1968-1980. They played in a variety of styles of music blues, rock, folk and many more unlike most bands. Some people dislike Robert Plants vocals saying that his voice is girly but is it really when compared to emo music. At least Robert Plant doesnt sing in monotone like most metal, punk, and 3rd wave ska bands ive heard. People say they dont like Zeppelin because they covered many songs on there first album of other artists then didnt give the credit this is because they didnt think Zeppelin would be a success they were just finishing up The Yardbirds tour after The Yardbirds broke up. Plus how many other musicians have covered songs on their cds Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Pressely, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and many more. Some people think that they only have a couple of a good songs a "one hit wonder" but when i listen to their albums there arnt any songs i dont like. Another good point about the band is that they're all really good musicians unlike Jimi Hendrix's band where he was pretty much holding up the band by himself.
Led Zeppelin: "the biggest band in the world"

Plant has a want to mix and match influences, references and story lines in lyrics. Sometimes lyrics don't mean anything - they just fit the moment and emotion and sometimes lyrics with a specific cultural reference are used as an metaphor for another meaning.

Lep Heads are one of the biggest "cults" (as my father says) to ever have exisited!

If u only know 1 cd!! YOU ANRT A LEP HEAD!
Ramble On,Battle for Evermore and Misty Mountain Hop

all have no real meanings when u think about it! they are all abouyt nothing but emtion in one way or another!

Led Zeppelin ROXS MY SOXS!!!

The best band ever to exist on the face of this earth. From their bluesy first album, to the best guitar album ever (Led Zeppelin II), to the best acustic album ever( Led Zeppelin III), to the best album with the best song ever ( Zep IV) to the best album ever( Physical Grafitti) and so on...

Led Zeppelin have never composed a bad song... All their songs are so fucking good. Only few bands are good enough to even lick Zep's balls(apart from Pink Floyd).

Stairway to heavenis the best song that has ever been written. Actually Sick Again, Dazed And Confused, Trampled Under Foot, Achilles Last Stand are as well

Jimmy Page is the best guitarist in the whole world. He will never be surpassed by any guitarist.
Jjohn Paul Jones is the best bass/keyboard player ever.
Bonzo is the fucking best drummer to stop foot on this earth. he can do anything on his drums- for you doubters check out Moby Dick live..
And Robert Plant has the most amazing voice ever. To prove this i reccomend you to listen to the ZEP DVD and putting on the MSG concert on the first DVD from 1971 and listening to I can't quite you baby
Guy: I love Led Zeppelin
Girl: can i make sweet love to you?

A Band from the the 60's that has influenced many bands, past and present(Van Halen's tapping technique was inspired by the "Heartbreaker" solo). I don't think they were overated, I can't really see how they could be. I think bands like Greenday and Nickleback are overated. Jimmy Page was an amazing guitarist who created many different sounds by using very creative methods( e.g The violin bow on "Whole Lotta Love" and "Dazed and Confused"). Also, John Bonham inovated drumming techniques with his unique style and super fast beats.(listen to Good Times, Bad Times or Moby Dick). Im not really sure that Led Zep alone were the "Creators" of Heavy Metal, and I think someone pointed out that Black Sabbath was doing their thing before Zep, but Led Zeppelin was one of them. Also, Led Zeppelin would have to be one of the most versitile band's in the world because they can do various types of songs(e.g. "Thank you", "Since I've Been Loving you", "Rock and Roll" and "Dazed and Confused" are all diferent styles). Sure, fads come and go but in my opinion, Led Zeppelin wasn't just another fad, because if they were, kids like me( i'm 14) wouldn't be listening to them. They may not be the "Greatest" rock band ever, but they're somewhere up there.
The lyrics in Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" is very mystical, Does it make you wonder?

Amazing Blues Rock'n'Roll Band (not heavy metal to all you un-cultured weirdos who think that they are).

Band members: Robert Plant - Vocals, Jimmy Page - Lead Guitar, John Paul Jones - Bass Guitar, Piano/Organ, Mandolin, John Bonham - Drums.

Guy: "Hey, *insert attractive girl's name*, you like Led Zeppelin?"

Attractive girl: "Who's he?"

Guy: "Led Zeppelin's the name of a band, I've lost all love for music and I'm going to kill myself :) thanks."

Attractive Girl: "Oh...you're weird, like, my dad listens to him.."
