It was never said on the show the true definition of the word is some people believe it is a word that is used to curse at insane people however this has not been proofed. Curently the word can be used for any time you want to swear for instance "Goto kleemin you kleemin kleemin." is an acceptable sentance.

Adjective. Used to describe persons who have adjusted or altered their lifestyle for environmental reasons. Crunchy persons tend to be politically strongly left-leaning and may be additionally but not exclusively categorized as vegetarians, vegans, eco-tarians, conservationists, environmentalists, neo-hippies, tree huggers, nature enthusiasts, etc.
