Kick the Box

When a person or group of persons places a box that appears to be empty, but acctually contains a large brick or cinderblock, on a sidewalk or commonly traveled place. While you are watching from accross the road, people will pass and kick the box (out of the way, for fun, or because you tell them to) and hurt their foot.
You are playing "Kick the Box" when you are watching people kick the box, not acctually when you kick it yourself. This is common entertainment for college students when they are drunk. Empty thirty pack boxes are commonly used.
Best results are obtained when you are playing near drunk people, in busy areas, or if you place the box directly in the path that people must walk.
What did you do last night?

We sat around, drank a thirty pack on the porch, and played kick the box all night.

Consumer: "Oh yes, my box, my precious."
Scrounger: "Here mate, whit kind eh box is that?"
Consumer: "It's a kick yer cunt in box if ye keep looking at it!"

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a martial art which was made for beating Muay Thai by Japanese boxing promotor Osamu Noguchi in 1950. Opponents are allowed to hit each other with fists and feet, hitting above the hip. Using elbows or knees is forbidden and the use of the shins is seldom allowed (except in Thai boxing, where the knee is also allowed).
Forms of kickboxing include:

- Pradal Serey (Khmer kickboxing) = A predecessor of Muay Thai

- Muay Thai (Thai boxing/kickboxing) = Strong emphasis on knee and elbow strikes

- Savate (French kickboxing) = Allows the use of shoes

- San Shou/Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing) = Takedowns and throws are legal

- Lethwei (Burmese Kickboxing) = Any part of the body may be used to strike and be struck

- Japanese kickboxing = Similar to Muay Thai, but different point system is taken

- Full Contact Karate (American Kickboxing) = Most of the time padding and in some cases body armour is used

- Shoot boxing = A Japanese form of kickboxing which allows throwing and submission while standing similar to San Shou
