1) a) What people who buy the iPhone 4 on Verizon now will be when the iPhone 5 comes out in the Summer.

b) What any person who buys an Apple product is in less than six months from purchase when a newer, upgraded (or cheaper) version is released.

a) bought the iPhone as soon as he could when the iPhone 4 came out on Verizon; now, he's contractually stuck with it even though the far superior iPhone 5 was released. He sure got iPoned!

b) I bought a MacBook last July. Now, Apple sells the same laptop is 300 dollars cheaper. I was iPoned so badly.

self-imposed exhale 

Where you are trying to hold in a deep breath but then unintentionally do something that obliges you to "pop" whether ya want to or not.

I was competing with a couple of friends to see who could hold his breath the longest, and I was reading the daily newspaper-comics to distract me from my respiratory discomfort. Then I read a cartoon that really struck me funny and so I hadda laugh --- talk about self-imposed exhale!

Imposed Consensus

A forced agreement achieved through power, pressure, or elimination of alternatives, presented as genuine unanimity. In Imposed Consensus, dissenting voices are silenced—not convinced, but removed. Meetings where everyone "agrees" because anyone who might disagree wasn't invited, was intimidated beforehand, or learned long ago that speaking up costs more than silence.
