The Core i9 was introduced with the 9th gen Intel Processors with Desktop processor Intel Core i9-9900K and 7th gen with HEDT i9-7980X, Today with the Intel Core i9-13900KS, it is the first CPU to reach 6GHz. Although today's AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is way better for gaming, Intel Core i9 is still better at productivity, along with the AMD counterpart Ryzen 9 7900X(3D).
