Homointolerant 

A better word to use in place of "Homophobic". The root word "phobic" would imply that one has an irrational fear of gay people. When "intolerant" would just show that they don't like gay people. Homointolerant would be a much better word to use in cases where people say "homophobic" instead

Person one: Wow, my mom doesn't like me because I'm gay
Person two: Wow, sounds like your mom is homointolerant

Proper use of the word "homophobic"

Person one: I told my mom I'm gay and she ran away screaming and crying in fear
Person two: Wow, sounds like your mom is homophobic

not a homophobic showing fear, but a homointolerant showing intolerance towards homosexuals.

don't call him a homophobe, he's just homointolerant
