A town where going to the park is still fun and watching little league baseball games is exciting. A town with extremely nice people hide from the rest of the horrible world. Alternate slang name for the city of Hoover, AL, a large suburb located south of Birmingham, AL. Hooville is a turn on the Dr. Seuss's fiction town of Whoville. Much like the denizens of the fictional town and most American suburbanites, residents of Hooville are characterized by their adherence to conformity. In Hooville's case, adherence to conformity of middle-class lifestyle, appearance and social/political thought.
