A number equal to ten to the power of a googol. That is, 10^10^100.

If you wanted to see an example of a googolplex, you would have to look at the entirety of the universe on a subatomic level: the estimated number of atoms in the universe is around 10^10^78.

If you tried to print all of the zeros in a googolplex in 1 point font, the result would be a line that could stretch from one side of the visible universe to the other (60-80 billion light years according to current observation and theory) and possibly make the trip around at least once more, assuming that there was enough matter in the universe for that process to take place.

And the googolplex is not the last number that we have assigned "googol" or "plex" to.

Any example I could give wouldn't mean anything to you because of the sheer scales I would be talking about.

For an example of a googolplex, do some research on quantum theory, the quantum inflation, and multiverse theory.

The number of calories in a Big Mac.

I just ate a Big Mac and now my stomach is a theoretical impossibility. I'm gonna go take a dump . . . It's gonna take some plumber to unclog that!

10^Googol (Ten to the Googol power), or 10^10^100. In decimal form, a Googolplex is a 1 followed by a Googol of zeroes. It is physically impossible to write out or type out this number, even if all the matter in the universe was transformed into ink and paper or data disks.

The number represented by 1 followed by a googol zeros. Often misspelled as "google", a search engine.

A Googolplex is 10 to the power of Googol a Googol is ten to the power of one hundred (10 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000).

With modern technology it would take approximately 3.125*10^85 years to print the number Googolplex and there are probably not enough particles in the universe to do this.

a googol is a 1 with 100 zeros after it. a googolplex is a 1 with a googol zeros after it.

actual words from googol making program, and on my slow old laptop, too:
