ghost draft

When one drafts an email or letter or other written work to be sent or published by another, after the final sender/author tweaks the message, to be in their tone of voice or include additional information.

I wrote a ghost draft of the email of that my boss eventually sent to our client.

(n.) A draft that a ghost creates using a ghost fan. Often directed towards victims with mustaches.

"Dude! I totally caught a ghost draft yesterday!!!"
