A life of Pain and Fear followed by a hardened soul. It is not forced on you but made as a young kid in a ghetto who sees all the things your brothers and older friends who you look up to and see that they are gangstas. And once you enter a gang there is no getting out. In addition to watching your best friends die for stupid and pointless reasons, you can never rise above what you have gotten into. A GANG. That is a true gangsta someone who is IN A GANG. Then Through all of this it is glorified to the point where those who recognize the stupidity of its glorification then ridicule the young impressionable kids who joined the gang as illiterate and stupid. For people whove never been in a real ghetto, whove never had to take care of their younger sister when their mom would be gone from the house for weeks, for people who had nothing growing up and were looked down upon by people( for example the people on this site who dont know what they are talking about) its a way to be someone, to live, and survive as a gangsta. But by succumbing to this we kill each other, and keep ourselves from every rising above the status quo. The world would be better if we didnt have to be gangsta's. And to All those kids out in the suburbs pretending, do whatever you want its your choice as long as you do not cause harm to anyone or yourself, you are living in a false reality driven by stories of a life more exciting then your daily routine in your safe boring neighborhood. But as long as you glorify it you are proving yourself to be dissillusioned and have never seen anything besides what is on tv, and music.

A gangsta is a person who lives their life to the lowest extent and with the lowest effort possible. Instead of conforming to the 'trade', by working for money, and spending that money, they decide to become leeches, and steal money and goods. Gangstas also partake in the illegal drug trade in an attempt to survive.
The very society that gangstas hate and despise, are actually their providers. If there is nothing to leech off of, they will quickly die out, primarily by killing each other.
Gangstas believe they are tough because they are violent, and can sometimes take a beating. But little do they realize, that the tough people in society are the ones who understand what needs to be done. Society wasn't built by half-wit hot heads.

Term generally used to identify modern inner-city minority males who are uneducated, on drugs, alcoholic, unmotivated, useless and flat broke. Usually they are covered with tacky tatoos and sport unwashed braided hair which renders them even less employable. On average they weigh 90lbs. and cannot compete academically with an average 8 year old from the white suburbs. Having little or no self esteem, they derive a sense of "manliness" by gunning each other down in cold blood. While this violence helps society by reducing the numbers of this human vermin, unfortunately even aiming a gun properly is beyond their cranial capabilities. Hundreds of innocent school children and employed people with goals are usually shot in the crossfire. Gangstas tend to act tough while stealing cars, snatching purses, shooting innocent children or robbing people with jobs. Strangely once incarcerated, these 90lbs. "tough guys" are rendered helpless without access to firearms or dozens of fellow gang bangers. Usually gangstas end up as an oral/ anal entertainment system for the older criminals.
Tyrone, a true gangsta from the projects, fired over 30 rounds from his cheap Tec-9 semi-automatic 9mm at a rival gangmember named Leroy. Unfortunately Leroy escaped unharmed but 3 children in the playground were struck and killed. Tyrone now cries himself to sleep every night in prison after spending long painful days bent over grabbing his ankles in the shower room servicing older convicted felons.

an individual who grows up in a poor area and do whatever it takes to"paperchase". Many gangsta's sell crack,coke,meth,weed,pills,guns and sex to buy all the material shit they never had growing up due to poverty. Often misunderstood many gangsta's dont give a fuck about anything and will solve problems with lethal force, many unintelligent gangsta's do not know how to use a firearm properly and miss many shots however more intelligent individuals such as a literate gangsta who knows how to rap will be more of a problem. most members of the urban community will dress in baggy clothes although lately tighter more fitting clothes have become prevalent. The bottom line is in the end that gangsta's say whatever they want and dont give a fuck about the consequences of their actions.

Used to be either a italian mafia memember, irish mob member, or russian rob memeber. They used to have families that owned sperate sections of cities. They did not go around killing people for fun, and families would almost never get into fights. If there were ever a fight though, small warfare would literally fought in the streets until a peace treaty was made(which usually both sides would come to their senses soon). They had good reasons, and helped out their fellow nations people. They made money by running rackets, making people pay protection money, etc. They did this too help their people and help their families have a better lives. Now they have more secretive ways of doin buisness and mafia and mob members are rarely cought anymore.
Now the newer term for gangsta is : a lower class person who lives in or near a housing project in the "ghetto". They are mostly black and listen to rap and hip-hop and shit like that. They go around killing people for no reason or over drugs. They have totally fucked up what the mafia and mobs origionally did. They have horrible marksmenship. They preform drivebys on rival gangs and end up killing like 4 kids, 8 senoir citizens, 5 pregnant women and only 1 rival gang member.
