The act of using "LOL" in chat messaging, without ACTUALLY laughing out loud.

Donny: Those quesadillas have given me explosive diarrhea!
Jennie: Haha lol!
Donny: You didn't actually laugh out loud there did you? You were fauxlolling, you fauxlollering crumpet.
Jennie: oh actually, no i didn't, i was procrasibating instead.
