ego-centrifuge 

A complex centrifuge designed to condensate, and thus enhance, a human's or other living thing's ego. While moderate treatments are said to have an encouraging and self-centering effect particularly on shy characters (as for instance emos), overexposure may result in a critical level of self-esteem surplus. ergocentric 

A person who believes that their work is the central reason for their existence

1: people in today's world only ever live to work
2: yeah! we really do live in an ergocentric society
1: oh my gosh, yes!! all they care about is work, none of them care about personal lives
2: it's because we're so economically centered; work has become the thing we center our lives on

egocentric 

1. Centered on one's self. Selfish. Derived from the latin words "ego" meaning "I," and "centric" meaning "focused upon."

2. Philosophical theory stating that everyone is stranded in their own private universe and cannot truely know or be known by anyone else.

3. Dense. Referring to a person who assumes their first throught is correct every time.
