dig·i·cuffs (dij'-i-kfs)

pl.n.
1. A virtual fistfight.
2. The activity of fighting online via social media.
3. Combat with Tweets instead of fists.
4. The digital equivalent of fisticuffs.
Jimmy Kimmel's parody of Kanye West incensed the rapper and led to digicuffs—they fought it out on Twitter.

That late-night skit resulted in digicuffs when a Twitter spat ensued between Kimmel and a gay fish:

"JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS" — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest)
"JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD PUSSY IN YOUR LIFE…" — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest)
etc.
"apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me...." — Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel)

Any delay in uploading or downloading pages, photographs, video, or data.
