Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company is the official name for this popular clothing brand. Originally meant (and still used) for work environments, such as for a mechanic, however, today many people of different believes and backgrounds are clad in Dickies, such as kids in full dickies outfits (at school for example). Also, it is very popular in schools in the Philadelphia region of Pennsylvania.

"Tight dickies shirt with a pop top button" --- Babs (of Da Band), Hold Me Down

"Yeah, got my root beer dickies on" --- Mannie Fresh (of Big Tymers), No Love

"Philly spitters rock Dickies and boots" --- Elliot Ness (of Da Band), Do You Know

dickie

A piece of neckware that is supposed to simulate an undershirt, so that one only has to wear the dickie and an overshirt. Were very popular in the sixties, due to the Beatle's use of them. They were mostly starched and bleached, and meant to look like a sweatshirt. The Beatles used them so they wouldn't overheat while performing, but could still look dressed up.

I thought my Starfleet uniform came with one of those cool blue undershirts, but all I got was dickie.

The Dickies

One of the longest lasting US punk bands today. Formed in the San Fernando Valley, CA. The Dickies sing about Southern Californian life. This band was heavly influenced by The Ramones. The Dickies have a very bouncy sound thats fun to listen to.

Stukas over Disney Land is a fun song about the theory of Walt Disney being a nazi.

'The Dicky'

The definition of the word, 'The Dicky' - a cheeky, less offensive way of saying fucked or nailed or screwed. When referring to 'The Dicky' it always delivers the impact on the situation in a light hearted way. Never to be said when someone is moaning or anrgy, brings a whole new meaning to the word!!

Guy 1: What you doing tonight bud??
Guy 2: Just going to grab some food with the misses, go home, watch a movie....I might give her 'The Dicky' if she's lucky ;)

Girl: Oh your such a lovely guy and so polite
Guy: Hey with words like that you might be getting 'The Dicky' later ;)
