deseloper

Ridiculous term business-types came up with to describe someone who both "designs" and "develops." Of course, this sort of awkward portmanteau never catches on with anyone literate, so its utterance serves as a sort of warning that the utterer lives in a childish linguistic world separate from our own, where saying words and phrases such as "deseloper," "brainwidth," "heat map," "e-learning" gives them an e-woody.
We need a deseloper on our team to accelerate our e-learning initiative and actionize our web 3.0 presence on the social grid.

devloper

A software developer so inattentive in their work to the point that they misspell their job title and don't notice the red squiggles under the word.

Usually a devloper is someone who produces little or no useful work. The issues they cause tend to cause significantly more work for others than productive work they themselves actually achieve.

Depending on experience level may be a junior devloper, and somehow eventually becomes a senior devloper, nobody knows why they got promoted or why they are still employed, but is often suspected that they have incriminating photographs of their boss.
That guy is such a devloper, he just wasted a day due to an unplugged network cable.

John: i cannot make this. :-(

Team lead: ok, i will just assign it to the Rebound Developer

Rebound Developer: new task assigned.. *checks history * wtf man.. To me again?! What are the other members doing?! I am such a Rebound Developer! That's the reason im quitting here!!

Developer Coffee

In a highly focused developer environment, the coffee pot tends to get cold before anyone remembers to drink the coffee. Within development teams around, the word "Developer Coffee" surfaced as a way to describe a tepid or cold pot of coffee.
Should we drink the developer coffee now, or draw a new pot?

Developer Friendly

User Friendly is a common phrase to describe software that is user friendly. Developer Friendly would be used to describe the opposite. Seems corporate software is being written and developed by millenials that are thinking how quick their week is going to be since they don't work more than a few hours, from home, Tuesday till noon Friday.
Write it, test it, critique it, publish it. Well that is easy to use, I'll roll it out Monday.
Dustin: Steve, did you see the new IT request for a company assigned cell phone?

Steve: Sure did Dustin, I couldn't figure out which one I needed, a cell phone a smartphone or a mobile phone.

Dustin: For sure.....dude that developed the software knows how to use it.....he made it "Developer Friendly" not "User Friendly".
