Complicationship

When a couple goes from "In a relationship" to "It's complicated". They are broken up but miss eachother enough to consider dating again if they both get their shit together.
The two lovebirds had a hard time living together as a couple so they broke up and are now in a complicationship.

Complicating

Damn, this math problem is hard.

So? Would you say it's complicated?

What? No. Idiot. The correct term is complicating.

I think you're mistaken.

That's why you're dumb.

Gossip 1: I've seen Dave and Clare together a lot recently. Are they going out?
Gossip 2: Don't think so. They're just in a complicationship.

Complicationship

A complicationship is when two people want to be in a relationship, act in ways that are indicative of a relationship, but still have separate life issues that prevent an actual relationship from occurring. This can be between two people who have never been in a relationship, or if the two were previously in a relationship, and are trying to potentially revisit it.
